Finally got 1 logo that Mr. Khaw accept.

This is my sketches.

 

And above is a logo that I liked but Mr. Khaw don't accept. Too bad... :(

So this is few version of my campaign logo.

Let me explain about my logo,

According to my research, colors are great. We use colors to tell others how we feel, and to affect how others feel. Each culture has their own meaning for different colors. For our culture here are what the basic colors represent. 

White

means pure and clean. Black can mean depressed or evil but it can also be used to suggest power and sexiness.

Blue

is a very cool, calming color and represents trust, strength and wisdom. It just like father because father  have to bracing the family and he is the strongest in the family and he must be calm when facing difficulties.

Pink

Pink represents femininity. We also often connect it with romance, love, friendship harmony, compassion, relaxation and companionship. Pink is considered a color of good health and life. 
And  a pink carnation means "I will never forget you." Just like we have to love and always remember our parents that bring us to this world.

My fault

Gonna done at least 5 applications by tomorrow and show Mr. Khaw and Ms. Nat...

Sand Writing

Mr. Khaw want me to try to write A - Z  on the beach and take picture of each alphabet, but I think I have not enough time to do it and go to Port Dickson to take pictures. That why, I went to 'Youtube' and search "sand drawing", and it come out a lot to ways to create sand writing effect on Photoshop.
And I did this. :D

I did went to Port Dickson to capture some pictures for my campaign, but there's some people only and I though the weather would be good but it's not. No sun at all and seems like raining soon.
I did capture some pictures for my campaign but it was like. =.=...
No comments... No feelings when I saw those pictures and it's seems like not connected to my campaign....
Going to DIE SOON!!.. hahaha joking. :)

What to do for poster??


Hmm~
My campaign is under Unicef.
So I'm thinking that how about I do something that shows family's love?


My idea is this family event is going to held at Port Dickson beach and they are going to stay there for 3 days on 19 Nov 2012 until 21 Nov 2012.


WHY will I choose those day?

"The General Assembly recommended that all countries institute a Universal Children's Day, to be observed as a day of worldwide fraternity and understanding between children. Start sketching logo...

After listed down the applications, I'm going to start sketching logos, omgosh~ o.O
So the logo is about that mother and father protecting or maybe hugging their child, because parents should take care of their kids to avoid them of getting hurt and parent's duty is to give their child an intact and happy family.
An incomplete family will cause their kids leave in a bad shadow and maybe others bad affect.
I design a logo like father and mother hugging their kids like below...
There are some of my logo progression.

Actually I quiet like the love because I did spent a lot of time to do it. The small dot which means sand and I apply it for my logo. I arranged it one by one and dot by dot.... 

But Mr. Khaw said that this logo doesn't suit my campaign, because my campaign is more to like government stuff, it should not be so funky or cute? LoL

Get rejected again. :(

Never mind... Do again lor, what can I do... haih~

And I redo the logo again.

This logo came out, but get rejected AGAIN! :'(

Project Changed.

Photography really hard to do for major project. I have no confident to capture those pretty AWESOME pictures. I decided to change my major design project from photography to a campaign.

I decided to do a family campaign because I saw that many others country also quiet focus on family campaign such as stop family violence, etc... And now I'm going to do an event for the family members about family violence that under family categories .

WHAT IS UNICEF?

"UNICEF joined forces with the Government and the people of Malaysia to transform the lives of children across the nation.Lasting improvements in the social, legal and protective environments provisions for children happen only with irrevocable change in policy based on the best interest of the child...."

Opss~
Seems like I haven't been update my blog for a long time.
So today I'm gonna talk about what I want to do for my major project.

So,what is photography?

Photography is the art, science and practice of creating durable images by recording light or others electromagnetic radiation... bla bla bla...

Through photographs, we preserve history. :D

And I did draw a mind map on my sketch book and understand that what can I do for my major project by using Photographs.

Ughhh..this project really blow my minds up! ><

week 4

OMG!!

I'm out of idea..... 

What to do for my major project by using photographs???

Mr. Khaw (my Major Design lecturer) said photographs can do a lot of things, but you need to take photographs that have selling value, so people would buy it. Just like if you take photographs that's seems normal, who gonna buy it? It's like pay for nothing right? And he wants me to take photographs like National Geography did! 

Ftw?!

OH. MY. GOSH.... I love to take photographs but I'm not that professional okay?! =.= Ughh~ 
Me : "Okay, I will try my best..." Mr. Khaw : " NO, I don't want you to try the best, I want the best..." Me : "..........Okay......" 


I can feel that I'm DEAD......  X.x

week 3

Hmmmmm~

Actually I don't know what to do at the beginning. So I keep on start to figure out what I like, what I love...
